the cutest little things

i love the way bryce squats down to pick something up. if bryce finds a snuggly animal or blankie on the floor, he lays down with it (for a few seconds anyway.) when bryce hears eric come home he runs to the baby gate, or to the doorway to greet him. when bryce sees a dog now, he makes this growling sort of sound that means "Ruff Ruff". Bryce has learned the fine art of drinking through a straw. the craziest things make bryce laugh - like when i drop something, or when i take my sunglasses on and off, or when eric raises his eyebrows. and he will laugh and laugh and laugh until his whole body shakes. his laugh is becoming more of a kid laugh, than a baby laugh. (i dont know if i should laugh or cry about THAT!) when we go to the playground bryce likes to just watch the other kids and try to figure what they are doing. if we ask bryce for a kiss now (when he's in the mood,) he will sort of lean forward and open his mouth a little bit for a big wet smackaroo. i just adore this kid. he is so FUN!
