Quackbooking Scrapbooking

We have had a full day already today, in Orlando! This morning we went and checked out Mimi's booth at the Scrapbook Expo. Already in the first hour or so, she seemed to be having some good sales, and my dad said it has continued throughout the day. Hooray!!!! (Although I must admit that MY highlight of the Expo is the booth where everything is a DOLLAR!!) Then we went to The Peabody Hotel. . . .they have this crazy tradition with some ducks that apparently live in their own suite upstairs, and come down the elevator every day to their fountain in the lobby. There they lounge and swim throughout the day, until they march their way back down the red carpet and up the elevator to go back "home" for the night. SO we went and saw the big processional of ducks as they came down for the day. HILAROUS. It is SO funny. The ducks come bookin' it down the carpet with people all around taking their picture. Then they munch on duck food in the fountain, like they haven't eaten in days. Bryce made his little quack quack sign for the ducks and we took lots of photos. After a nap we had lunch at Bahama Breeze with a dear friend from Kissimmee, and THEN walked around a mall that used to have FAO Schwartz. . . .it would have been Bryce's first trip to the World's Biggest Toystore. . .but it is closed for renovations. RATS! Currently, Bryce is running around the hotel suite getting out some energy after being trapped in his stroller or carseat a lot of the day. I will post some pictures after we get home on Sunday!

Road Trip!

Tomorrow afternoon we are driving down to Orlando for the weekend. I know Bryce is excited about his third Scrapbook Expo - the first he experienced while in my tummy, but I know he liked it just the same. Crazy scrapbook ladies love cute babies, so he will enjoy himself I know! Look for pictures next week!

How Does Your Garden Grow?

Hopefully our new garden will grow quite well!!! Bryce enjoyed his first attempt at gardening. By the end of it, he was totally soaked with water, (which made him freezing cold) and covered in dirt and mulch. Our flowers look terrific! It's so cheerful to walk in and out the front door now! Enjoy the pictures!

Bryce loved picking up the plants and moving them around on the sidewalk. He stayed quite busy while we planted our new flowers! Posted by Picasa

Hmmm, I wonder where THESE should go. Posted by Picasa

All this gardening business is hard work! Posted by Picasa

Bryce quickly became an expert at moving mulch around, and digging, as well as trying to pick up our plants by their flowers Posted by Picasa

Bryce got SOAKED while he and Eric watered our newly planted flowers. He had such fun though! Posted by Picasa
