Oh GOOODY.

WELL, Bryce has learned a new word. . .it just figures it has to be one of my LEAST favorite things EVER. . . . .lizard. When he says it, it sounds like Dizzzard but its really quite cute. He has had Liz down for a while, so it makes sense that he got lizard pretty easily too. I will spare you my tangent about HOW much I dislike lizards, because if you are reading this. . .then you probably ALREADY know.
I will try to get some new pics up later today, for all of you AND Eric to enjoy (while he is away at school for the day.) Tomorrow we are going to the zooo!! The weather is supposed to be BEAUTIFUL as we are finally starting to get some cooler days! I will be sure to take pictures, (unlike the last time we went to the zoo, and the smart mommy forgot the camera!)

bryce and jilly played in the pool yesterday, in our front yard. sooo cute!!!! enjoy some end of summer splash pictures!
this past weekend we had SUCH fun! Joy was in town, and she, Annamaria and I met Sarah at a FABULOUS kids' consignment sale. We all got some WAY cute winter clothing bargains for the little people! I even found a ROCKING CHAIR!! ( I have been looking for one since before Bryce was born. . .better late than never I suppose!) That evening we had dinner here, and watched the toddlers hit, hug, steal, kiss, and trample each other. Pics coming soon!

this is bryce's train. .. he doesn't know it yet, but he is getting it for his birthday!!! (we just let him play with it a little early!!)

a new word!! bryce said BUBBLES today! the screensaver on the NEWWWW computer is bubbles floating all over my desktop (which happens to be a quite lovely super-up-close shot of a red gerber daisy) and bryce points to it and says bubbbbles!
some of his other words happen to be baaa (for ma), dada, cup (which sounds like DUP!), vroom-vroom for my dad's jeep, wet-wet (for anything that is or looks to be wet), splash (which comes out like Pahhhh, with a little splash gesture accompanying it) tons of animal sounds (my favorite is cockadoodledoo, which sounds like "dagoolagoolagoola") and lots of other signs and words which don't really sound like words to anyone who doesn't spend all day with the Big B Bopper, himself.
