10 YEARS!!!!!

This was the TENTH year that Joy and I have been going to Night of Lights . . .ever since our freshman year at Flagler. (With the exception of last year, when I was home waiting for Bryce to arrive!!) This year it was wonderful having the babies with us!!! Posted by Picasa

Walkin' with my bear shoes

My parents seem to think its a good idea to have bears on my feet. I will be honest, I don't like it one bit. Check me out walking with Daddy though - any day now I am just going to let go and take off on my own. For now though, I am sticking close to Mom and Dad - I think they like it that way. (And I guess I will deal with the bears on my feet if I HAVE to!) Posted by Picasa

Most exciting day EVER

Today is the best day EVER because we finally have high speed internet. HOORAY!!!! This means I can post pics soooo much faster, and we can do all sorts of things we couldn't do (or that took FOREVER) when we had dial-up. QUICK is important when chasing after a little man and his wheels, (as you will see in the pictures) so now I can get things done faster online! Yeah, happy day! Enjoy the new pics of Bryce and his new toy that Gigi got him this past weekend. He is ALLL over the place with it!

My new wheels

This is my new SUPER cool toy. I can push it,
and walk with it, and it makes great dancing music!
In the next picture you will see how it turns into a
car. . .I can make my great escape now!!! Posted by Picasa

The getaway car

I got my wheels, and I am heading to Mexico. Posted by Picasa

Time Flies!

Bryce has turned 11 months old (I know, I know, you are still waiting for the customary "___month birthday" photograph.) He is getting quite close to walking. Eric and I have been trying to bribe him with Cheerios to walk over to us. He gets so busy doing things that he is starting to not realize he isn't hanging on to anything, lasts for a few seconds, and then plops down on his cushiony little diaper butt. It is quite the excitement around here! It is amazing to me, that this time next MONTH he will be one year old. I could get all mushy and nostalgic here, but I will save it for next month!
Time is funny though. . .it really does fly, whether you are having fun or not. I can say that this past year HAS been fun - not all of it, but quite a bit. I am still amazed that in a few months the class of 1996 will celebrate 10 years since high school graduation. Much like this past year, most of the past 10 have been fun - not all of it, but I am blessed and thankful to say, MOST of it. Maybe it just depends how you look at it, but I will choose to remember the fun stuff.
Speaking of FUN STUFF. . .wait until you see the pictures of Bryce crawling into the kitchen cabinet today, and spilling cocoa mix all over the floor (and himself). Fun fun fun!
PS Added some new links to the sidebar today! Mary Page has finally joined all us cool kids that have blogs, plus check out the website for my reunion! (I know, why would you want to? I have no idea! Go Panthers!)

See my new teeth coming in??  Posted by Picasa

Bryce was so busy eating this scrap of paper that he didn't realize what he WASN'T doing. . . .holding on to anything! He has stayed standing up, without holding on to anything a couple of times now!  Posted by Picasa

Bryce thought he was ohhhhh so clever for managing to squeeze himself behind the couch (where he isn't supposed to go!) and thought it was hilarious when I "found" him. Posted by Picasa

We made it!

My parents got their power back, and we made it to Fort Myers yesterday. We will be here until Tuesday, so check Wednesday for lots of new pictures of Bryce, Halloween, and Mimi's birthday!!! Bryce is having a great time exploring this big dangerous house full of tile floors, electrical outlets, open doors to the patio, and lots of fragile knick-knacks and Mommy's old art projects!!!!! It has been quite an adventure!!!
Have a great weekend! Happy Halloween!
