birthiversary at the beach :)

To celebrate my birthday/our anniversary we spent the night out at Nana and Gil's new beach condo!  I won't tell you HOW many photos it took to get both boys in the SAME picture LOOKING at the camera - but the last one was the winning shot :)

We had a little playdate at the beach with some friends, played in the pool, had a simple dinner at the condo, enjoyed some more of our anniversary cake, and RELAXED!  We tried to have a pretty low-key weekend, because on Wednesday we leave for DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!  Bryce still doesn't know - we are going to surprise him when we pick him up from school on Wednesday.  We are SOOO excited - it's been a LONG time since we've been to Disney!!! And it will be Tanner's FIRST EVER trip there! Plus I think this will be the first visit that Bryce REALLY remembers - he'll be old enough to retain these memories for a LONG time, so we want it to be a really special trip!!!!  We have some fun lunch and dinner reservations made already, and we've been saving all our pennies!!! ;)

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make my birthday and our TENTH wedding anniversary SO SPECIAL!!!!! We love you all!!! (Yes every single one of you. . .because if you are reading this blog, then you are SPECIAL!)

10th anniversary cake!

For our anniversary, Eric and I got a cake from Classic Cakes, the bakery that made our wedding cake.  I have been SO excited about this cake!!!! We haven't eaten it yet . . .but it looks delicious!!!! It's not exactly the same as our wedding cake topper, but it's similar!

Tomorrow we are going to take the boys out to the beach, and stay at Nana and Gil's beach condo.  Hopefully there will be some leftover cake to take with us!!!! :)

The zoo!

After we picked up B from school yesterday, he asked if we could go to the zoo. We didn't have any other plans, so we were good little parents, and took our kiddos to the zoo!!! :)

It was pretty warm yesterday.  Not a day that we normally would have trekked to the zoo at three in the afternoon! but we took lots of icy cold water with us, and in the shade it really wasn't too bad.  it's supposed to be 93 degrees today though! YIKES! In APRIL!?

afternoon at the park

Just an afternoon to run and be wild at the park!

 this picture totally makes me laugh.  bryce's face is so. . . BRYCE.  he had HAD it with tanner walking in the opposite direction, that bryce wanted him to go.  So Bryce just scooped him up and TOOK him where he wanted!
