Bryce-isms

I don't have any pictures to post at the moment, but Bryce is saying so much now, I thought I would share some of our favorite Bryce-isms of the day:

-In the big Winnie the Pooh phase we exist in right now, he has taken up a Christopher Robbin phrase - "Tut, tut, looks like rain!"

-"So happy to see you Daddy!"

-"tastes terrible!" (after attempting to lick soap off his hand)

-"Tanks mommy!"

-"B, Mommy, Daddy Wiiwums house!" (when arriving back home from somewhere - LOVE the way he says Williams. We totally have to get it on video!!)

the modem died sunday night sometime after i posted all those disney pictures (apparently just in the knick of time!) so sorry for being out of touch this week! we are finally back up and running and i am trying to get caught up. what did we DO before the internet? i feel seriously out of touch with EVERYONE. so, in response to my 24 emails, some of which i have not responded to yet . . . i'm not ignorning you! i'll try and catch up tomorrow! night-night! in NO particular order, here are oodles of more pictures from all four parks, over the past four days. we are HOME and unpacking now! phew!
definite highlights of the trip . . . .
-breakfast with pooh and friends
-watching bryce become more friendly with people . . .waving, saying hi and thank you, not looking like a deer in the headlights quite as often
-the Playhouse Disney show at MGM this morning
-hanging out with lizzie and gigi for a few days at the parks, what a nice treat!!!
-bryce's over all MOOD .. . .he was SO easygoing, didn't throw a single tantrum that i can remember, the whole time . . .happy in his stroller, sleep deprived and yet still happy as can be!! it was REMARKABLE!!!!

Bryce is playing in the dinosaur digging area at Animal Kingdom, busy digging up some fossils out of the pebbles. Here he is just pouring the tiny pebbles out of his hand, but i think its a sort of fun picture!!!
this afternoon we had to say goodbye to lizzie and gigi, but tonight the three of us are heading to epcot for dinner in italy, and the FIREWORKS (Bryce is WAY into fireworks right now!!!!)
we are heading home tomorrow, so look for more pictures soon!

someone certainly seems to be feeling better

i think bryce is finally feeling better. he played outside today, and fought me at naptime. . .a SURE sign that he is on the mend!

sick, sick, and then more sick.

Bryce was still trying to get over his upper respiratory thing that we had been passing around, and then this weekend he started throwing up on Saturday night, and then I started throwing up early Sunday morning and then Eric started throwing up Sunday afternoon. Its been an interesting (and disgusting) weekend around here. I thought Bryce was done as of Sunday night, but then Monday night he threw up once more. Sigh. Hopefully NOW things will get better. I am tired of washing towels and sheets. (And tired of people throwing up.) Eric told me that as was laying on the bathroom floor, he had a newfound appreciation of what I went through when I was pregnant, when I spent a good three or four months on the bathroom floor. And he NEVER gets sick like that. NEVER. Like once I think in the almost six years we have been married. Yeeks. Nasty nasty bug going around!! Hope to be back up and around soon, and sharing lots more pictures!

bryce created his very own jungle-gym and play space at the Orange County Convention Center. One of the covered overpass walkways between two areas of the center has a people mover, and it overlooks a big fountain. Bryce wanted to play out there, going BACK AND FORTH for quite a long time! We rode the people mover, Bryce hung on the railings, we watched the buses drive by, and some nice scrapbooking ladies asked if we would like our picture taken TOGETHER, as I was snapping away pics of just Bryce. I think this is going to make a CUTE scrapbook page!!!

this morning at the beach

i still have more pics from orlando to post, but i wanted to share these - because they are SOOO cute!!! some need some editing, and i want to check them out as black and white, but here they are as is!! we went and played at the beach for a little while this morning (because i am such a good mom, taking my still-coughing toddler to the windy cool wet beach.) Bryce had SO much fun, and of course got totally soaked.

I am finally trying to get some pictures up from our trip. Here are a few from our evening at Epcot with my dad! We had dinner in Italy, dessert in Norway, and even stayed for the fireworks!!! (Which, according to Bryce, say CRASH BANG BOOM!)

thanks for all the happy wishes for bryce's quick recovery!!! he is doing fine now, still coughing, but no more YUCKY stuff. we are having a fun time in orlando: took Poppy to Epcot and ate in Italy, spent a lot of the day at the Scrapbook Expo yesterday (not really one of Bryce's favorite events - he threw cheerios all over the floor, and left a trail of smiley face stickers throughout the convention center) Poppy and Eric went to the Log Home Expo which is here as well this weekend (Poppy is beside himself with happiness!!!) and then ate with some sweet sweet friends for dinner last night (which apparently made bryce so happy and hyper that he didn't fall asleep until 10PM - what IS UP with that!!!??) Today we are thinking about going to see the ducks at The Peabody Hotel before naptime, followed by some more scrapbook expo and then helping pack up the show. We'll be home tomorrow!!! XOXOXO

be PREPARED!!!!

i thought I was heading on our trip to orlando, pretty prepared. . . .children's motrin, and decongestant - just in case, since bryce had been seeming a little congested and i thought maybe he was catching what i had been sick with. apparently all the things i USED to travel with and rarely needed, would have finally come in handy in the first 12 hours of this trip . . . . .as bryce was THROWING UP in our hotel bed, i was wishing i had brought the extra pajamas, laundry detergent, and thermometer. Thankfully he seems much better so far today, but it was a long night!!!! He was taking forever to settle down and go to sleep last night, and then just started getting SICK EVERYWHERE!!! We went through 2 sets of pj's, and then put him in the bath, where finally settled down, at 9:45PM (and then wouldn't get OUT of the tub - just sat there staring at the water, and was literally drifting off to sleep). SO SAD!!! Thankfully he was finally willing to get out and crash just in time for LOST to start!!! He was already asleep as i was putting a diaper on him. Poor guy. Hopefully we will all stay healthy today, and head to Epcot for dinner tonight in Italy, with my dad!!! YUM-O!
