Last week my dad came through town, and my mom was so sad that SHE didn't get to see Bryce. SO I attempted to take a cute pic of Bryce with an "I love Mimi" sign, but mr man was less than cooperative! Enjoy! And see you soon Mimi! We love you!

Hello everyone, my mommy said that I should write to you and tell you what I have been up to! The most important thing I did this week was to start eating CHEERIOS! Mommy and Daddy break them up really small and let me chew on them. . . they are DELICIOUS! Mommy said she ate a lot of dry Cheerios when I was in her tummy, and maybe thats why I like them so much! I also have figured out something important about those cabinet doors which are all over the kitchen and bathrooms. . .they OPEN. Did you know that!? It's amazing! I have been pulling myself up in front of them all this time, and never knew that they OPENED! Daddy has some crazy latches to attach and keep the doors shut, but I will probably be able to figure them out soon enough. So that's what I am up to! Mimi and my GREAT Aunt Nancy are coming in a few weeks, and I can't wait to see them!! Then soon it will be Halloween. Just wait till you see what I dress up as! Hugs and slobbery kisses to you! Whatever these round, red, sweet-smelling things are, they are fun to roll on the kitchen floor.

On Tuesday Bryce and I got together with Mary Page and miss Emilie Page at the MOST un-kid-friendly mall EVER, and amidst a huge rainstorm (thank you Hurricane Rita). When we took this picture, in the parking lot it was about to start POURING again! It was totally worth every second though to play with two of my favorite girls! 

Mimi sent me this fun baseball toy and it is soo fun! I especially like the monkey ballplayer - monkeys, and baseball . .. what could be better?

Fallin' Down on the Job!

I know, I know. It has been a WEEK since I posted anything but as Bryce becomes faster and more mobile, I am finding less time to get pictures up! We bought baby gates this week, and cabinet latches to get things more secure around here! He is waving and clapping his hands when he feels like it (but not usually on command of course, so if you come over - don't expect to necessarily be waved at when you go bye-bye!) He has tried to break the printer, tried to eat all of Eric's books on the shelves, learned to turn the alarm clock radio on and off, turn off the computer, climb the stairs, and cruise along the furniture. ANDDD in the nursery today, while I was in church, (yes - I was in church and he was in the nursery, for a little while anyway!) In between crying, the ladies fed him some Goldfish crackers. SOO mr. man who has yet to eat solid foods got his first taste of solid foods today, and they said he liked it! I am so sad that I missed it! (We won't be doing the Goldfish cracker thing again for a while though!) I have more pictures to post. . .hopefully sooner than later! I will try to catch up!

Bryce can pull himself up on just about anything now, and get anywhere he wants to go, which means the baby gates are up, and all breakables are moving to higher ground.

Last weekend we got to spend time with Joy and Dan, and baby Daniel! Both boys don't look too terribly excited about picture time, but we think they are pretty darn cute anyways!

Baby Torture!

Yesterday Bryce had a check-up, and today his first REAL haircut . . . that equals two days of torture from a baby's point of view. A baby, who I might add, looks nothing LIKE a baby anymore after a big boy haircut. Sigh.
Bryce weighs 20 lbs 2 oz now, and got two shots plus a toe prick. He did great! Now he is crawling away, as usual so I better go chase after him . . .the grownup boy with the grownup haircut!

Bryce started out okay, but as you can see he was less than thrilled with the whole haircutting situation!

Another Bryce-a-Roni Adventure

He's on the go again ladies and gentlemen . . .check out his newest adventure. And now, I gotta go because he is off again - tearing up books, cleaning off shelves, and crawling out of the room! (Yes, practically all at the same time!)

Today Bryce found his baby tub in the hallway and found it to be an excellent toy. 

I remember when he was sort of too little for this bathtub!
